Context
A large industrial group was running an ageing on-premise infrastructure deployed on bare-metal servers with no automation. Deployment cycles took weeks, production incidents were frequent, and there was no reliable rollback capability.
Challenge
Migrate the entire platform to the cloud with no maintenance window, no data loss, and no performance regression — while maintaining contractual SLAs with end clients throughout the migration.
Our approach
How we built it
We applied the strangler fig pattern — service-by-service replacement with dual-run of source and target systems for each migrated component. Infrastructure as Code (Terraform + Helm) for full reproducibility. Progressive cutover with automated rollback at each milestone, validated in staging before every production step.
