National critical infrastructure

Deployment for a national strategic authority

End-to-end engagement for an infrastructure serving millions of users. Failure was not an option. Contractual availability: five nines.

Context

A national public authority operated a critical information system relied on by millions of citizens. The existing infrastructure had no tested disaster recovery plan and no high-availability architecture compliant with regulatory requirements for critical infrastructure operators.

Challenge

Design and deploy an architecture tolerant of multiple failures and regional disasters, with RTO and RPO meeting contractual commitments — in a heavily regulated environment with no production service interruption permitted.

Our approach

How we built it

Multi-site active-active architecture with automated failover. We conducted a full audit of the existing system, designed the target architecture, then delivered in phases with failover testing at each stage. A tested and documented disaster recovery plan was handed over with the internal teams.
